Description
How can we better plan local sustainable development actions to achieve regional and global objectives? Learn how to apply this internationally recognized tool developed by the Institut de la Francophonie pour le développement durable (IFDD).
The adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development marks a turning point in history. For the first time, the world has set goals and targets that will help improve living conditions for current and future generations, while preserving our planet. Implementing this program poses a methodological challenge in order to translate this global vision into development policies, plans, strategies and projects at all levels of intervention.
This training course, developed by the IFDD in collaboration with its partners, notably the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi, focuses on an information and participatory prioritization tool developed by these same partners: the SDG Target prioritization grid (SDG-TPG). This tool facilitates the planning, implementation and monitoring of the SDGs at regional, national or local level, whether by public administrations, sub-regional organizations, private companies or civil society organizations.
The SDG-TPG, widely recognized and used for several years throughout the French-speaking world, is part of the support methodology used by the "Démarche transformationnelle des ODD dans les collectivités locales" project led by Université Laval' s EDS Institute in partnership with the IFDD, with support from the Government of Canada's Sustainable Development Goals funding program. Now, thanks to RésODD, the grid and the tools that accompany it (user manual and online training) are accessible to a larger number of players worldwide.
For the year 2024-2025, a limited number of places are offered free of charge, with the possibility of obtaining a certificate of completion issued by Université Laval's continuing education department and the IFDD. If you wish to discover and use the grid without necessarily completing the training course, we invite you to download the grid and the manual. To take the course, register now!
